Singapore 3rd - 5th April 2012

Day 1 - fly to Singapore. Got upgraded to Premium Economy as the flight was overbooked. Result! Ended up in the first row, right near the exit. Kirk was very happy as there was heaps of leg room. Caught a taxi to Larry's luxurious apartment about 20 minutes from the centre of town.

Day 2 - we went to food Republic with Uncle Larry for lunch, a huge indoor fast-food place with every sort of Asian dish imaginable. Noodle Soup count #1 for Mel. We went shopping at Vivo City before getting on the Singapore Flyer. Great views of Singapore can be had from here. We wondered through Marina Square to do some shopping but the heat and humidity had already tired us out before we reached the cool shopping centre.
